\frac ¶Synopsis:
\frac{numerator}{denominator}
Produces the fraction. Used as: \begin{displaymath}
\frac{1}{\sqrt{2\pi\sigma}} \end{displaymath}. In inline math
mode it comes out small; see the discussion of \displaystyle
